Microsoft to sponsor 30 special olympics athletes

Mission 3000 is a new program that Special Olympics launched in support of athletes competing in the 2017 Special Olympics World Winter Games. As we know, Special Olympics is the world’s largest sports organization for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, providing year-round training and competitions to more than 5.3 million athletes and Unified Sports partners in nearly 170 countries.

This year’s  Special Olympics World Winter Games will be held across four cities in Austria: Graz, Schladming, Ramsau am Dachstein and Rohrmoos-Untertal. The games will be held from March 14-25 across eight sports with 2,700 athletes, 1,100 coaches and 3,000 volunteers.

Enter love…

How do you say, “I love you” without exactly using words?

Microsoft Nigeria knows just how as they went on to spend a day with these special athletes. Also, they are a part of this initiative, sponsoring 30 athletes from around the world and Nigeria is one of the lucky countries that will benefit from this.

If all these special athletes are bringing to the table are determination, willingness and passion, let us support and show them love with an act of kindness. Happy Valentine’s day!
