We have been publishing since 2012. We write for everyone who uses a phone, a laptop, an app or a card and wants to know what a change means for them. Every technical term is explained the first time it appears, and every piece answers one question before it runs: does this help a real person make a better decision?

How we work
Every claim names its source. Every review names the trade-off. When we get something wrong, we say so on the article and fix it in the open. The rules we hold ourselves to are public: our editorial standards, our corrections policy and our ethics policy.
How we pay for it
Advertising, partner content and affiliate links. Every advertisement is labelled and sits in space the page keeps for it. Partner content is labelled as such, never takes the lead story, and is edited to the same standard as everything else. When a link earns us a commission, the article says so at the top. No advertiser or partner decides what we cover or how a review ends. Our affiliate disclosure and advertising page have the detail.
Who we are
TechCity is published by TechCity Media. The people who write and edit it are on the team page, and every story links to its author.
