OPPO and UEFA partnership

OPPO and UEFA enter a two-year multi-competition partnership

OPPO is partnering with UEFA for the next two years, this OPPO and UEFA partnership will bring deeper tech adoption to football competitions.

Smartphone manufacturer OPPO has entered a new partnership with UEFA. This isn’t the first time the Chinese tech manufacturer has partnered with a big sports name. At the moment, it is the official sponsor of FC Barcelona and the tennis championship Wimbledon and Roland-Garros.

This new partnership with UEFA is rather comprehensive as it covers most football championships the body holds. Among the competitions that OPPO will feature are the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, UEFA Futsal Champions League, and UEFA Youth League. In this partnership, OPPO will incorporate its product in capturing iconic moments both on and off the pitch.

The football world is gearing up for a new season and all teams involved in UEFA competitions on all levels are ready. This OPPO and UEFA partnership will last for two seasons or years. This means that the UEFA championships holding this year and the next will see a bit of OPPO technology.

This partnership will benefit both ends, first OPPO will get publicity and take its amazing devices to the global market. On the other receiving end, UEFA will get a bit of aesthetic imagery from OPPO devices and officials. We already see the power of OPPO high motion photography in some images and videos available on Barcelona’s Twitter page. This is made possible by OPPO’s in-house imaging chipset, the MariSilicon X.

Just like with the Wimbledon Championships, OPPO is likely to bring its AR technology to the UEFA championships. This partnership also reinforces the romance between sports and tech as football is the latest to deepen tech adoption. Mobile tech on its own is undergoing a metamorphosis into stuff of wild imaginations. As more industries embrace these changes and improvements, we see openings for even more technological advancements.
