Apple just released a budget device – the iPhone SE 2 which is the second generation of the iPhone SE that was discontinued in 2018.
Even at a price of $399 (about N144,000), the smartphone stills packs on features of previous expensive iPhones. Here’s everything we know about Apple’s new and cheaper iPhone.

Design
The design is similar to that of the iPhone 8, with the front design looking much like the iPhone 7, 6 and 6s – which means it has a 4.7-inch screen, large bezels on the top and bottom, and a home button with Touch ID.
With the presence of a Touch ID, you’ll be able to unlock your phone with your fingerprint, rather than the Face ID feature as on other recent iPhones.
You should also note that there’s no headphone jack on this device and it also supports wireless charging.
Camera, Processor
Although the iPhone SE is similar to the iPhone 8, there are other features that distinguish the two devices. For example, while the iPhone 8 used the A11 Bionic chipset, the new iPhone SE packs the same A13 Bionic engine that powers the iPhone 11 range.
The iPhone SE features a 12MP camera with a f/1.8 aperture, which is similar to the iPhone XR, but according to Apple it’s the best single-camera system ever. They say it’s because the iPhone SE leverages the image signal processor and Neural Engine in the A13 bionic chip to offer computational photography benefits the iPhone 8 and iPhone XR can’t match.
About the battery life, there was no word on that from Apple; but we expect that it should be the same with the iPhone 8.
