Apple has finally confirmed that it is buying the popular Dr. Dre’s Beats Headphone business for $3Billion.
We reported earlier in May that Apple made a proposition to buy the company and according to statements credited to Apple CEO, it is a confirmed deal.
This deal will see Beats co-founders Jimmy Iovine and Dr. Dre will joining Apple.

The acquisition of Beats will be Apples’s largest acquisition ever after the company acquired NeXT and its NeXTstep operating system in 1996 for $429 million.
