You will be able to unlock TECNO Camon C9 with your eyes

It is no more news that TECNO Camon C9 will be unveiled anytime soon, while expectations are high from users and fans of the Chines device manufacturers owing to the perceived success and performance of the Camon C8, I am just waiting patiently to lay my hands on the device and see what the device will have to offer.

The Camon C8 was hailed basically for its camera quality; sharp display and solid build quality, every other feature was basic. Building on these feat, the Camon C9 is expected to bring considerable improvements in the Camera department.

Expect a Camera upgrade

On paper, the Camon C9 seems to be a brilliant device with a dual 13MP camera on both sides (front and back). Front camera is an 83 degree wide angle for selfies, apparently family and friends won’t have to squeeze in to take pictures.

c9A lot more focus is on the Camera, TECNO claims the Camon C9 has 6 optical lens which is expected to give you vivid images even when you zoom in to take a shot of an object at a distance. This is a feature I will like to put to test, more so zoomed in pictures don’t always look great on most smartphone cameras.

Your eyes will unlock the phone

The Camon C9 will come with some level of surprises; maybe not a surprise for the techies however there is an Iris scanner which will enable users unlock the phones with their eyes. We expect that the iris technology will be able to provide some level of encryption other than just unlocking the phone.

Now there is a wearable device

The Camon C9 is designed to work with a wearable device, in fact the there is a wearable device which TECNO named T-Band and we think it’s a short form for TECNO Band.

t bandThe T-band will have a camera and a camera button which can take pictures remotely, connection between the T-band and the Camon C9 will be between a 10 metre range.

The Camon C9 will also feature TECNO’s new user interface called HiOS and run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow software.

While we patiently await the official release, I just hope that these device will meet certain expectations in specs, quality and most especially with the HiOS which feels like it was hurriedly put together and dumped on the Boom J8.
