Thrivesend, an app by Flutterwave and Venture Garden Group, is a money transfer service that makes it possible for anyone with a local or international Mastercard, Visa or Verve card to send money to any verified Nigerian bank account.
So how does Thrivesend work?
- After downloading and opening the app, input the amount of money you want to send (maximum of N50,000).
- Fill in your email address and recipient’s bank account details and click on Next step.
- Enter your bank details.
- Enter your BVN number and the missing digits from the phone number linked to your BVN
- Enter the OTP sent to your phone number and click on verify transfer to complete the transfer process. Once your card is validated successfully, your account would be debited and the beneficiary would be credited immediately
Other benefits of this platform are, it is fast and secure. There’s no need to setup an account, you can send as low as N500. Lastly, any Bank Card is allowed; both International and local.
