CommentHub, owners of the SocialGospelNG brand are proud to announce the debut of #SocialGospelLagos, the first in its series aimed at harnessing efforts in the Christian community in Nigeria and beyond, on the need to adopt social media practices with a view to spreading the gospel.
The one-day event tagged “away from the pulpit” has become necessary given that the church no longer exists within four walls thus raising a need for the Christian community to embrace social media practices in their efforts towards spreading the gospel of Christ.
According to Olufemi Bellos, convener of #SocialGospelLagos and Executive Director, CommentHub, the event will focus on; How the gospel has become social vis-à-vis what people are doing online e.g christian blogs, online gospel stations, online bible study groups etc. How can it be more social without losing the essence of Mark 16:15? How can my life as a Christian be bettered using social media? How can my ministry be bettered using the internet?
The event which will be held annually with other mini-series is scheduled for June 14th 2014, at Niger Palace Hotel, No.1 Thorburn Ave. (beside e-centre), Yaba Lagos, Nigeria.
