Nigerian startups can now receive PayPal payment

Flutterwave, owners of Rave, this week announced that businesses using its Rave platform to receive payments can now tap into 200 million-user strong PayPal.

The company said the new feature is huge for businesses using Rave to accept payments from a global customer base.

“Today, although many African businesses want to accept payments from around the world, international card payments are fraught with risks of chargebacks,” Flutterwave stated.

It observed that while customers may not trust local businesses enough to put their card details on their website, PayPal is trusted by millions of customers and merchants around the world.

“And this is why we think this feature is a game changer for any business accepting payments with Rave.”

Flutterwave said the payment experience is super simple, and secure for both business and customer.
