My Personal Experience with Quick Credit

I got started by dialing *737*51*51# from the phone line linked to my GT bank account. Then I got a message saying that I qualify for N106,322 to repay over 12 months at 1.75% interest monthly. I guess the system automatically calculates the maximum amount of loan you can take out, depending on how much goes into the account from time to time.

At first, I entered 1 to accept and then I was prompted to enter my 737 pin to confirm but nah…I wasn’t ready for that. I mean, let’s play safe. N30,000 is not a bad amount to start with, right?

So let’s start the whole process again…

I went on to type N30,000 according to the instruction provided, and I was incited to enter my 737 pin.

After inputting my pin, I got another message saying my transaction was being processed, with a status SMS on the way.

While I never got that SMS, within a minute, I received an alert of my 30k cash sitting in my account.

After about 10 minutes, I kept wondering what the repayment plan was going to be like because I received no message at first, until I checked my email the next day.

According to the repayment plan above, I’m expected to pay back N33,392.93 within 12 months which I think is fair. They also stated the dates of each payment and how much would be charged per month.
