Microsoft has released a Skype update for its iPhone app and its iPad app, finally redesigning them both for iOS 7. You can download the new versions now directly from Apple’s App Store: iPhone and iPad.
The new features of Skype for iOS7 include:
- Refreshed look and feel for iOS 7.
- Accessibility improvements, including improved accessibility of dialpad with touchtype support,
- VoiceOver announces the senders name when messaging, and VoiceOver improvements for group chats.
- General fixes.
Microsoft released a minor Skype for iOS update on the same day as iOS 7′s release, TNW noted that a new interface for Apple’s latest mobile operating system was clearly missing. Now it’s here and the company can focus on delivering new features.
