Microsoft Azure OpenAI service is now available for use by enterprises

Microsoft has announced that its Azure OpenAI service is available for use by enterprises, but the ChatGPT integration is still in the work.

Microsoft’s investment in artificial intelligence has given birth to the Azure OpenAI service. This new service is possible thanks to the partnership between Microsoft and OpenAI. It promises to help bring the power and capabilities of artificial intelligence to local enterprises to help improve their various businesses.

Additionally, the popular ChatGPT service will also become available via the Azure service. According to Microsoft, this version of ChatGPT will be able to run “inference on Azure AI infrastructure.” The various AI models this Azure OpenAI service promises to bring are GPT-3.5, Codex, and DALL•E 2 all of which will be integrated by enterprises into their business activities.

As for the ChatGPT service, it will become available with time. Already, the ChatGPT service is undergoing some improvements and fixes. So, it won’t be available for use until these improvements are complete, and the service is fully stable for public usage.

The Azure OpenAI service integration into Microsoft business is another milestone for the company. Well, the two companies in this partnership have been working together for some years now. But with the growing popularity of OpenAI’s ChatGPT service, Microsoft is strengthening their business relationship with OpenAI.

This will make it possible for Microsoft to compete with Google in the artificial intelligence business. Microsoft says that some benefits of its new Azure OpenAI service include “security, reliability, compliance, data privacy, and built-in Responsible AI capabilities.” We will soon begin seeing existing and upcoming enterprises integrate this service into their business activities.
