iHate that iLove You: A Song By Apple to Samsung

You know exactly what to do

So that I can’t stay mad at you

For too long, that’s wrong

But I hate it

You know exactly how to touch

So that I don’t wanna fuss and fight no more

So I despise that I adore you

These lines from Rihanna’s duet with Neyo must have been what the guys at Apple said to the guys at Samsung if the article published on macrumors is true.

According to the article Samsung has won the order to produce the “S1 system in a package” for the Apple watch. The S1 combines multiple components including the processor, mobile DRAM,  NAND flash, and other chips into one package. The article also stated that based on a report from November 2014, Apple will be depending heavily on Samsung for iphone 6 and the Apple Watch components. This is due to Apple’s concerns about the NAND flash causing crashing issues, and Samsung’s competitive prices.

Apple critically depends on Samsung and has always been one of Samsung’s biggest customer for processors and chip memory. Trust me there is really no love lost between these two… i can’t help but wonder when I see people arguing over superiority between Samsung and Apple phones.

But then, both companies compete directly with each other in the smartphone market and have spent a lot of time and money suing and countersuing over the look, feel and features of their gadgets

The two companies are like married couples who find it very difficult to divorce each other

So in the words of Rihanna, from Apple to Samsung,

‘I just can’t let you go’

‘But I hate that I love you sooooo….’
