YouTube Music adds comment section in updates

YouTube Music users can now read and write comments directly from the app while playing a song.

The latest updates on the app includes a redesigned ‘Now Playing’ screen that includes the comments section from whichever YouTube video the music is playing from.

The comment button can be found among a line of buttons above the progress bar.

A user taps on the button and gets to view a pop up interface different from the regular YouTube app.

The comment interface includes existing comments from the YouTube upload so a user gets to read previous comments from the upload.

The YouTube music comment section is only functional for songs that have (YouTube) video sources.

Other updates on the app  are  larger album arts and a new horizontally swipeable line of buttons above the progress bar.

The buttons include save, share, download, radio, and the comments section button .

The  like/dislike buttons have also been moved to align with the new buttons.

The track name and album name are now aligned to the left of the screen.

These updates will no doubt make the app more interesting and engaging.

Creators will get more feedback from their fans. Fans/listeners on the other hand now have an interface that helps them connect via comments.

Reports say the YouTube music update is rolling out now to iOS and Android users.
