Want to learn how to start a startup?

Are you a founder actively pursuing your own startup? Or have you launched your startup already but still need help? Then you should definitely check out Startup School.

Startup School is a free 10-week massively open online course (MOOC) by Y Combinator. It is aimed at teaching people how to start a startup and help them along the way with guidance from people who’ve started companies.The 10-week class includes lectures, class office hours and group office hours.The lectures will be posted here starting from April 5th 2017. So what do you stand to gain from the free online courses?

  1. Guest speakers covering a wide variety of topics—how to get ideas, how to build a great product, how to grow, how to build a culture, how to raise money, and more. These lectures will be recorded at Stanford University. Some of the guest lecturers include people who played major roles at companies like WhatsApp, Stripe, Reddit, Quora, Facebook and Twitch.
  2. Weekly online advice sessions where you can get feedback on your startup. The advisors are mostly YC alumni, like Daniel Kan (Cruise), Sanjay Dastoor (Boosted Boards), and Cindy Wu (Experiment).
  3. An online community via Slack and email where you can connect with other entrepreneurs in the class.
  4. At the end of the class, participants will have a chance to share what they’ve built with a wide audience.
