Stutern seeks survey respondents for the Nigerian Graduate report 2.0

In 2016, Stutern, a startup that connects talents to employers published the first Nigerian Graduate Report in partnership with BudgITng and Jobberman. The report received widespread appreciation as well as a measured amount of criticism. The last Report ranked Covenant University (CU) as the most employable University in Nigeria based on their analysis of the data. However, this led to questions about how they acquired the data (perhaps, more CU graduates voted) and how many data points were gathered before making an analysis which then informed a decision.

Regardless of the criticism, their attempt at creating a definitive report on the “employment status of Nigerian graduates was well commended.

Upon this backdrop, the team at Stutern will be running a second edition of the Graduate survey in partnership with BudgITng, an NGO that focuses on simplifying the Nigerian budget to the masses. This time around they will like more responses than what they had the last time, precisely 20 times more. Their logic is simple, the more the data points the more representative the result could be.

“We are asking all those who have recently completed their studies in a Nigerian university or polytechnic within the last 5 years (2013 to 2017) to take part in this survey. The purpose is to find out what happens to young Nigerians after they graduate from their institutions. We are also interested in any work and/or further study our prospective survey participants have undertaken as at 2018″, read a statement from the company.

Currently, they are on 5x more respondents according to our latest communication with them. You can help the validity of the report by participating in the survey here: grad.stutern.com/survey. It takes between about 2 – 5 minutes to attend to the survey questions, many of which are multiple choice.
