The 2016 Nigeria International Technology Exhibition & Conference (NITEC 2016) holds this week on June 23 -24, with the theme:  “The Role of Disruptive Technologies in Catapulting the African Continent’s GDP”.

The event which is the first of its kind will hold at the Civic Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos and is poised to bring together key players in the Nigerian tech ecosystem to discuss on ways African nations can deploy disruptive technologies to boost their nation’s economy.

According to the press release, 50+ speakers will be speaking during the two day event with the Key note address to be delivered by Mr. Segun Ogunsanya, Managing Director, Airtel Nigeria. Other speakers include; Barr. Adebayo Shittu, Nigeria’s Minister of Communication, Prof. Umar Danbattta, the Executive Vice Chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), Afolabi Imoukhuede, SSA to the President on Job Creation, Nnamdi Ekeh, Founder, Simeon Ononobi, Founder, amongst others.
