Nigerian's Reaction To Linda Ikeji's Blog Removal

It is no news that the popular Linda Ikeji Blog has been shut down following issues surrounding copyright infringement. Her name has also been trending on twitter as tweets flooded my timeline like water flowing down a hill. Obviously there has been different strokes on the matter, many of her loyal fans have continued to sympathized, some took saw it as an avenue to hit at her, some analysed reasonably, educating people about plagiarism while others were comical about it.

I am not a frequent reader and i can count the number of times i browsed her blog page but i have always appreciated her considering the fact that she is making a living out of it and she is the most successful Nigerian Blogger.

Since the blog page was taken down, she has really become more popular and i am sure she will do well and command better value whenever she stages a comeback. I can bet on that…. While i wont be talking about what really happened or whether she was right or wrong, one thing i am certain about is that copyright infringement is no joke in a civilized world.
