Onboardly launches product for onboarding and offboarding employees

Onboardly launches product for onboarding, offboarding and managing employee access to company tools

Onboardly, an employee onboarding and management software for fast-growing companies has recently announced the launch of a new product, Onboardly IT. This platform is set to make it easy for organisations to provide employees with immediate access to work tools and manage this access from anywhere in the world.

Onboardly released Onboardly IT to help fast-growing companies solve the problem of manually creating accounts on third-party applications for new hires and managing access to these accounts. Team leads often have to create new accounts on work tools for new hires and bring them up to speed. This process can take weeks, but with Onboardly IT, new and existing employees can access company applications within five minutes.

Also, companies often have to manually decommission former employees’ accounts on third-party tools during offboarding. Onboardly IT solves this problem with a feature that enables team leads to revoke an employee’s access to multiple work tools with a few clicks.

To make any of this possible, Onboardly IT currently integrates with tools such as Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Slack, Jira, Heroku, Basecamp, Asana, and more. This means if an organisation uses these tools, they can create accounts on them for new hires, manage and withdraw employee access to these accounts via Onboardly IT.

Although Onboardly IT is Onboardly’s latest product, it’s not its first. The company started out with and still offers Onboardly HR (formerly Onboardly), a human resource information system that lets HR managers send offer letters in minutes, and collect and store employee information in a central database at the point of hire.

The HRIS has already seen sustained patronage from some of Africa’s fastest growing companies like Mono, Bumpa, and Float. Backed by this strong foundation and funds from a pre-seed round, Onboardly is looking to layer powerful workflows on its existing stack, and the launch of Onboardly IT underscores this intention.

Speaking on the Onboardly IT launch and the company’s plans, founder and CEO, Joshua Oguntade, said, “We understand that work has changed in fundamental ways and we are building the tools to help people and organisations thrive while embracing these changes. Onboardly IT is just the beginning of what we hope will grow to become one of the most extensive employee management systems available.”
