New WhatsApp update may be the most useful ever!

A new update will give WhatsApp a subtle or rather obvious new experience. What features should we expect in coming WhatsApp updates?

In order to fix issues, squash bugs and receive new features, users need to wait for a series of WhatsApp updates. One of them is coming soon and will give WhatsApp a subtle or rather obvious new experience. What features should we expect in coming WhatsApp updates?

First on the list is a “Global voice note player” for WhatsApp Android users. This coming feature gives you more control over voice notes, how and where we will listen to them. For a long time, we have wished that we could listen to that long voice note sent by a friend while attending to other chats. With this new feature, we will be able to listen to a voice note from one chat while in another chat. This feature is currently available to WhatsApp Beta testers and will roll out to global users in the coming weeks. Additionally, you will have the ability to pick up a voice note from where you stopped (in case you turned off your phone or closed WhatsApp).

Second, WhatsApp has started a small test in Argentina where users can send large files of up to 2GB in size. Currently, you can only send files with a maximum size of 100MB. The files mentioned here can as well be media files, so with this incoming WhatsApp update, you will be able to send a whole movie to your friend via WhatsApp.

Apart from these, there are a bunch of new and fun emojis coming to WhatsApp soon. Privacy will be kicked up a notch, with coming updates enabling you to share your “last seen” with selected contacts. This feature is similar to what is already available on your Status privacy, “share with my contact except..,” so you’ll be able to select who shouldn’t see your last seen.

All these features are not available yet but will be in future WhatsApp updates, so be sure to watch out for updates on the Google PlayStore or App Store.
