MTN Nigeria Partners Disney to Launch First Disney Mobile Web Service in Nigeria

Over the weekend, MTN Nigeria, in collaboration with Walt Disney Company Africa, launched a Disney mobile web service called Disneynigeria.mobi. The service is packed with Disney-themed short-form content, games, as well as shareables in Nigeria.

For the first year of the collaboration, the two-year deal grants MTN Nigeria exclusivity.

After some test trials to ensure a hitch-free experience for the intended audience, the mobile web service was launched amidst fanfare on Saturday, December 1, 2018, at MTN Nigeria Headquarters, Ikoyi, Lagos.

For just N200 per month, Disney Nigeria opens a world of Disney – including short videos, wallpapers, Disney film, and channel information and trailers, as well as select downloadables and much more – to MTN Nigeria users.

Users will experience fresh and exciting content updated on the site monthly. These content include games like Frozen Double TroubleGravity Falls and Mabel; wallpapers from fan favourite shows and short films like Car Toons or the popular Pixar Shorts; great recipes, arts and crafts, movie highlights and so much more, tailor-made to delight the family.

Users with both feature and smartphones can access the site by visiting Disneynigeria.mobi and following the instructions. In addition, users will be able to save a launcher app straight onto their mobile device for easy access to the site.

You can add up to five devices to one subscription, giving an entire family access to Disneynigeria.mobi.

According to Richard Iweanoge, General Manager, Brands and Communication, MTN Nigeria, who spoke at the launch event, “As a company, we have always searched for creative avenues for our customers to express their individuality and passion.

“And we know that this service achieves that and more. We are presenting a world of Disney straight to our customers’ fingertips at a truly affordable price, and we are confident of the fulfilling entertainment they will derive from this.
