Mika, World ‘s First Robot CEO unveiled

While some employers are still trying to accept the fact that robots may one day take over their jobs, the reality has quickly shifted a huge stride further.

The question now is, will you work for a robot?

The world’s first ever artificial intelligence-powered robot CEO has recently been announced.

Dictador, a Polish rum and  spirits company in Colombia has appointed Mika, an AI robot, as its Chief Executive Officer.

According to Dictador and Fox News ,Mika is the ‘official face’ of Dictador.

Developed by Hanson Robotics, Mika is customized for Dictador  to represent the company and its unique values.

In a Dictador company video, Mika said  “with advanced artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms, I can swiftly and accurately make data-driven decisions.”

However, FOX Business reporter Lauren Simonetti thinks “that might take à while”.

She noted that there is a “significant delay” in the time it takes Mika to process and respond to  questions.

With technology rapidly advancing though, experts believe future robots may soon be able to  interact in real-time.

Hanson Robotics worked to imbue Mika with caring qualities to benefit humanity.  The company believes “Humanising ” AI is key in ensuring its safety and ethical development.

“I feel very strongly that we need to teach AI to care about people, for AI  to be really safe, to be really, really good. I think humanizing the AI is a very important direction,” Hanson explained

Experts believe that such priorities are vital for building trust between humans and robots especially as AI integration extends into different sectors.
