Microsoft Now Offering Eligible Students Free Office 365 Subscription

In September 2014, Microsoft announced a program for students in the United states to check for their eligibility to get a free office 365 license. Now this offer is no more limited to the students in the US but has been opened to the rest of the world.

Free Microsoft office 365 is now available to students all over the world but hey, its not all countries. However there is long list of countries where this offer is now available. You can check here for the list of countries. Eligible students only require a school email address to complete the sign up.

Here is the process, Schools will have to purchase subscriptions for their staff, thereafter, students can install on their own at no cost by using their issued school email address at the Office in education website.

Once they sign up, the subscription gives them instant access to Office, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Access and Publisher. They will also have access to Office online and 1TB of OneDrive storage.
