Onedrive, Microsoft,

Welcome the OneDrive UWP app for Windows 10 PCs and tablets

Do you own a Windows computer or tablet that runs on Windows 10? If yes, then this news is for you. Microsoft yesterday released a OneDrive UWP (Universal Windows platform) app for Windows 10 PCs and tablets.

Prior to this release, only Windows 10 Mobile users had a OneDrive app while Windows 10 PC users only had a native sync support in File Explorer, which required them to visit OneDrive online if they wanted to view all their files.

This  new and touch-friendly app is more or less a web version of Microsoft’s cloud storage in a Windows Store app form. As a result, it gives PC and tablet users much of the same web experience. It allow users browse their OneDrive accounts without needing to sync and download all their files or folders.

The OneDrive UWP app also allows users drag and drop files to upload them, find files shared by others, restore files from the recycle bin as well as access recent documents.

So if you think this app will be useful on your Windows 10 laptop or tablet,  click here to download and don’t forget to share your experience with me.
