Imisi3D is a virtual reality creation lab in Lagos, Nigeria. They are dedicated to growing a community of VR developers in Nigeria, providing educational and engagement experiences with VR as well as creating solutions with VR. In doing so, they provide the tools and support needed to enable VR enthusiast and developers kickstart their journey towards creating solutions with VR.
Some of the things they’ve been up to…
As part of their effort to get more people involved/informed, they organised a VR showcase on the 17th July 2016 at CcHub, one of their supporters.
About 4 months after they had executed the first Virtual Reality Hackathon in Lagos. For which, Osarumen’s team, LEVRN (pronounced learn) won. He wrote about it here.
Unrelenting, they (the Imisi3D team) have fixed a meetup for VR and AR enthusiasts to meet each other, learn and have fun, according to their eventbrite page .
