If Released, Huddl by Microsoft Could Rival All Video Social Networks

Yes. All of this information is dependent on whether the app is eventually released or not. But  while the  jury is still out on that, here’s what we know. Microsoft is reportedly working on an instant video social network called Huddl. Though it’s not been officially announced and at the moment is only accessible via Microsoft employee accounts, mspoweruser.com predicts that it would share similar features with Skype. There is also at this time, non-compliance of the client with the Microsoft edge browser instead you are required to download Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome, but should it go live it may use the same technology that makes it possible to use Skype on Microsoft’s edge and other web.

The twist with Huddl however is, connecting users with people they do not already know hence the ‘network’ appendage. Also, if released, it would have a feature that connects users with the same interests and discover video chats randomly. Again, if released, the word ‘huddl’ would be used as a verb. E.g No one is huddling, why not start your own? Not bad, aye?

Will you use huddl should it go public? And what do you think about it?

  1. Microsoft’s interest is in enterprise, Huddl?? How is it different from Skype? Oh video chat with who I don’t know. Maybe they will only use it in the US. LOL

    1. Lol. I actually am of the opinion that the chat with unfamiliar people feature does have a market. Users tend to navigate more towards tech with a hint of mystery
