HTC announced today that they will be doubling the amount of free Google Drive cloud storage from 50GB to 100GB.
Recently Google has been supplying users of HTC smartphones 50GB of free cloud storage but starting from today, new owners of the HTC One M8, One Max, HTC One Remix, HTC Desire 816, or HTC Desire 610. when registering their phones will get 100GB.
The additional storage is only valid for 2 years after which users will have to pay or make do with Google’s free 15GB storage space. HTC also says the One, One mini and other specific 2013 models will get 25GB in cloud storage
To redeem this free storage offer, simply open the Google Drive app on your phone and press Redeem when presented with this screen, follow the screen prompts to complete redemption.
