Google Voice Search on Desktop gets Better

google voice searchGoogle voice search option was added to desktop computers earlier in August. The tech giant added the update in order to enhance voice search functionality and improve user experience.

Users only need to Say their question and hear an answer back on your desktop Chrome browser. All you will need is a built-in or attached microphone on your Laptop or desktop computer. Also, be sure to have the volume up on your computer to hear your answer loud and clear.

The exciting features of the desktop Google voice search include:

Search without typing
You can ask anything, anywhere. Use it in the kitchen, on the couch or anytime your hands might be full. Plus, searching with your voice makes searching words you’re not sure how to spell quicker and easier.

You’ve got questions. Voice search has answers.
How is the weather this weekend? How much is $100 in Euros? With voice search, you can hear your answer loud and clear.

Powered by Google’s Knowledge Graph
Voice search on desktop and the Google search app use the power of the Knowledge Graph to deliver exactly the information you need, exactly when you need it.

Ask your questions out loud and get answers spoken back whether you are out and about or sitting at your desk. Just tap the mic  on the Google search bar and speak up. This works on the Google Search App for iOS, Android and Chrome browsers for laptops and desktops.
