You read right! Twitter now allows you retweet your own tweet. Before now, you could only quote your tweet by copying the link of your tweet and pasting it to the new tweet bar. Congratulations are in order because that’s one more retweet to that deep stuff you posted that did not get any retweet.

Lol. I literally just tried it and it worked. I’m quite amused to be honest. Oddly enough, it didn’t feel like a Facebook like or an Instagram double tap on my own post. And no notification either. Shivers.

The new feature is available only on desktop for now; when it will be available on mobile is not yet known.
