Tijani broke down his blueprint to train three million technical talents in the next four years revealing that his ministry has created a unique model to drive the implementation of the plan as contained in its 31-page policy document.

“Our commitment to talent development is unwavering. We have set an ambitious goal to train three million early to mid-career technical talents over the next four years,” Dr. Tijani said.

Applications have already opened and it’s not just for individuals; trainers are invited to also apply. The first phase of the program will focus on 30,000 Nigerians, a significant step towards the ultimate goal of three million.

This phased approach aims to ensure a steady and sustainable process. Starting with 30,000 people in the initial three months, the program is set to expand gradually.

Dr. Tijani added, “If you take the 36 states of the country and you break down that 30,000, it’s a step that sounds big, but it’s all about creating opportunities, one step at a time.”
