Blackberry plans to release three new Android phones soon

Rumour has it that Blackberry plans to introduce three new android phones with code names: Neon, Argon, and Mercury one after the other, probably starting by July or August.

It’s a hard knock life” could be that classical song for the blackberry family to describe their difficulties since they decided to join the android community with the company’s first android, the Priv, which was launched November 6th 2015 and acted as blackberry’s first mobile failure wrecking the standard of their sales.

The CEO John Chen in an interview with Abu Dhabi’s The National, admitted that Blackberry’s “the Priv”, was a totally misstep explaining the reasons it seemed so and also introduced two of the android phones and explained that one would have a physical keyboard while the other would have a total touch screen.

Neon is claimed to be the first coming into the market by July or August and with the specs as followed; a 5.2-inch full 1080p resolution touchscreen (no physical keyboard), an aluminium frame with soft-coated plastic back, Snapdragon 617 processor, 3GB of RAM and 16GB of storage, 2610mAh battery which supports Quick Charge 2.0, a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera, and 8-megapixel front-facing camera.

The next, joining its buddy probably by October would be the Argon with its screen quite alike as the Blackberry’s Priv with the 5.5 inch QHD resolution touchscreen display, Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, 3000mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0, Fingerprint scanner, 21-megapixel rear-facing camera, and 8-megapixel front-facing camera.

Finally, should be the Mercury supposedly coming out during the first quarter of 2017 with a QWERTY keyboard  which seems to be more like the Blackberry Passport keyboard feature than that of the blackberry, “Priv” . It also has a 4.5-inch HD full screen, the entire enclosure made of aluminium, Snapdragon 625 processor, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, 3400mAh battery, 18-megapixel rear-facing camera, 8-megapixel front-facing camera. The battery weighs in at 3400mAh.

Blackberry seems to be crying and fighting into the market and with these three devices, I’m hoping they would be able to win their consumers back so from me… I guess all i could do right now is wish the struggling company Good luck!
