BlackBerry launches the new BlackBerry Q10 smartphone in Nigeria

q10 bBlackBerry® today announced the new BlackBerry® Q10 smartphone will be officially available in Nigeria on Monday 3rd June from authorized retail partners, alongside the already popular BlackBerry® Z10. The BlackBerry Q10 will be available in both black and white color models.

To celebrate the BlackBerry Q10 launch in Nigeria, a week-long online, social media and radio campaign concluded with a live event in Lagos today. Throughout the week, about 30 contestants were randomly selected on lifestyle and entertainment website, Bella Naija and today competed in a QWERTY keyboard typing race against, Eku Ewedor, a well-known Nigerian TV celebrity. Held at the Silverbird Galleria in Lagos, five lucky winners with lightning-fast typing fingers walked away with their very own new BlackBerry Q10 smartphone.
