The inaugural edition of TEDxVictoriaIsland launched in 2010 featuring Professor Pat Utomi, Mrs. Mo Abudu and Mrs. Betty Irabor amongst others. We are pleased to announce the 2012 edition of TEDxVictoriaIsland which aims to spread ideas and advance the discourse on innovation and creativity.
TEDxVictoriaIsland is a local, independently organized event in Victoria Island, Lagos that strives to re-create the unique experience found at TED, where the world’s leading thinkers and doers congregate to share what they are most passionate about.
The independently organized TED event will take place on Friday, October 12th at Federal Palace Hotel, Lagos. Speakers this year include Obi Asika of Storm 360, Simdul Shagaya of Dealdey/Konga, Chukwuemeka Afigbo of Google and Kola Masha of Doreo Partners. The event will be livestreamed via Google+ Hangouts.
