Emmanuel Nduka, a 22 year old co-founder has announced the official launch of Scholarly, a social enterprise platform.
He made the announcement via a thread on his X page yesterday.
“The BIG ANNOUNCEMENT is that we officially launched this week and are currently granting users access to our platform,” he wrote.
The young founder expressed his excitement to see months of hard work pay off. He said,
“It has been months of intense work with my co-founders and our group of volunteers. It’s really exciting to see individuals use our platform.”
Describing Scholarly, Nduka said the platform “is like LinkedIn for young people, students and GenZ’s.”
He highlighted two things that are important to the team at Scholarly; first, “to create something people want” and second, ” to redefine Africa”.
The Scholarly co-founder also expressed readiness to face all the challenges that may arise and the determination to go on and win against all odds. His exact words were;
“We understand the peculiarities of embarking on such a journey, we are not ignorant of the challenges we will face and we absolutely recognise that we could fail but we are not willing to he discouraged by these factors, against all odds we are determined to win because it’s a win for Africa.”
The platform was launched on Friday 29th of Sep 2023, and according to Nduka’s X post at 9:24 pm of the same day, the platform had gathered about 700 users.
A good number of people have responded to his post. Mostly about their experience trying to get on the app. The conversation is still on.
Nduka recently mentioned that the app is currently under review for iOS users.
