It might have something to do with the fact that his rival called him a jackass on international media, or maybe it is just vintage Donald Trump like i watched on The Apprentice years ago. Either way, Republican party politician, Donald Trump who is running for office of President Of the US sure knows how to make his way into practically every news bulletin; political, social and now, information and communication technology.
After claiming that Senator Lindsey Graham, his fellow Republican party mate, called him years ago to solicit funds for his political campaign and begged to help him be on Fox News’ Fox and Friends, Trump went ahead to say yesterday, during what was supposed to be a rally with his supporters in South Carolina that, “he [Graham] doesn’t seem like a very bright guy.” After which he held up a piece of paper that had a number inscribed on it; reading it out and urging his supporters to “Give it a shot”.
Time and CBS reported that they tried to call the number and confirmed the number was indeed Senator Graham’s while CNN and Mashable said their calls were forwarded to voicemail and couldn’t leave any message because the box was full. Senator Graham took to Twitter to make light of the situation asking his over 22 thousand followers if he should get an iPhone or Android.
In a recent development, Trump has come out to say he only reeled out his rival’s number for fun and that everyone had a good time. Adding, “He [Graham] calls me names. You have to fight back. I’m trying to be nice. I want to be nice. I’m a nice person. But everybody’s calling me names.”
Told you it had something to do with the Jackass statement. Hehe.
