World’s Largest Oracle Tech Event To Hold In Nigeria

Fortune 400 tech giant Oracle will, on October 19, host its major ICT event, in Nigeria – Oracle OpenWorld Day Nigeria 2012.

The annual event will present to Nigeria C-level, functional, and technology tracks demonstrating how simplicity can make IT a force that drives business innovation.

Gurhan Kalelioglu, Vice President Oracle Turkey, Central Asia and Africa, said: “The objective of Oracle Days is to give C-level decision-makers the information and insight to help them embrace these technologies.”

“Cloud, mobile, social, and big data are changing the way business is done,” he said. In a series of interactive and educative sessions, world-class experts at the Lagos-event will treat topics like Oracle’s public and private cloud computing solutions; best practices and case studies on deploying an integrated, engineered technology stack; and Oracle’s integrated and open business applications.

The Oracle Day which is themed “Your vision, Engineered,” will also include customer testimonials and live demos of new products. Oracle OpenWorld is an annual Oracle event for business decision-makers, IT management, and line-of-business end users. It is held in San FranciscoCaliforniaSão PauloBrazil; and ShanghaiChina.

The conference, which is the world’s largest for Oracle customers and technologists, Oracle OpenWorld San Francisco attracted more than 37,000 attendees in 2009.
