WorkCube set to compete in a space dominated by Andela

There is a new startup company in Lagos that trains and produces experts in software development, equipping them to render expert services to both local and International clients, it is called WorkCube and would be officially launched at the #WorkCubeStage Fireside Chat coming up on the 1st of November, 2017.

WorkCube is very similar to Andela and is riding on the template provided by iQube Labs which is now attempting to play in a space that is dominated by Andela to train people, especially developers, who will then work with companies in need of their expertise.

WorkCube describes itself as a startup company that supports various companies in finding the right talent in the tech ecosystem for the effective execution of their projects.

At the #WorkCubeStage Fireside Chat, Usman Abiola and Emeka Okoye will be discussing “The Ideal Solution to Tech Talent Retainer-ship in Nigeria”.

Okoye is an employer of tech talents while Abiola is a tech talent.

WorkCube believes that there is currently an issue in the Nigerian tech industry with retaining technology talents. According to the company, it has become a common trend in the Nigerian technology industry that companies expend their time and resources to train tech talents only for the trained talents to be taken/transferred to other companies or outside the country.

While the fireside chat officially aims to highlight the problems, the causes, effects and solution to the problem of tech talents in Nigeria, TechCity gathered that it would serve as an official launch for WorkCube.

Organizers said the event will be broadcast live here.
