Will.i.Am Reveals His New Smartwatch Project

Will.i.Am was a guest on the popular British comedy chart show Alan Carr: Chatty Man and seized that opportunity to talk about his latest venture: a new smartwatch. Though the device could not be explicitly called a “smartwatch” because it does not need to connect to a mobile phone to function as we know of the other smartwatches from Samsung, Sony and others.

The American rapper shared that he used his own money to develop the wrist-worn device as he showed off some of its features. I don’t carry my phone anymore; I just use this, [this] is my phone,” he told host Alan Carr as he pressed the dial pad on the watch.

He also played music from the device and gave the audience a brief robotic dance move. He also shared that it is compatible with Bluetooth headphones and users can access Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.
