WhatsApp audio transcriber is in its development stage

WhatsApp users around the world will soon get access to the WhatsApp audio transcriber feature. This feature is currently in the fight testing beta program, reports WABetaInfo.

The WhatsApp audio transcriber feature is simple, and will help to transcribe voice notes from audio to text. So, users will have the option of reading voice notes instead of listening to them.

The beta testers will make use of the feature and in that time, spot any flaws on the feature or areas of improvement. WhatsApp will then make any adjustments before rolling this feature out to users globally.

One problem we foresee with the WhatsApp audio transcriber is, if the system doesn’t pick words from the voice note, then it will not be able to transcribe it properly. This would be an issue if your friend sends a voice note with unclear speech.

At the moment, there is no information on when the feature will officially launch, but when it does launch, it will become available to the global community via a WhatsApp update.
