google i/o

This week was packed and we kept it real in this broadcast. Here are the top 6 stories we though you absolutely had to hear about (again):

You’ll soon be able to launch Periscope right from Twitter: I think they got the inspiration from Facebook Live. What do you think?. Still on Twitter, links and pictures will no longer reduce your creativity, add photos freely and still have access to your 140 character count. With this, all ye Twitter birds will soon be able to tweet longer messages

You can now relax. We’re in no way going to end up like North Korea, the Nigerian senate has scraped that controversial social media bill

Now you can rest easy as you watch  Bae head straight home after your date, cos Uber has made it possible for us to track loved ones while they’re riding in an Uber car

Google’s I/O event was a hit. They’ve created products and applications to take on Amazon, Apple, Facebook and in fact the whole world. Only time will tell if they’ve outwitted the competition. see details here
