Despite the BlackBerry’s decline, demand for smartphones with physical keyboards persists and Unihertz Titan 2 proves it. The Chinese brand known for compact, rugged Android phones is back with a BlackBerry-inspired device that blends nostalgia with power-packed modern features.
Launched via a Kickstarter campaign that has already surpassed its $100,000 goal, the Titan 2 is the successor to Unihertz’s original Titan smartphone from 2019. The new model introduces 5G connectivity, a sleeker design, and the latest Android 15 operating system, positioning it as a serious productivity tool for keyboard enthusiasts.
Early backers can preorder the Titan 2 for $269, while full retail pricing is expected to be $399. Shipping is slated to begin in October 2025.
