The Small Business Assistant is Providing Support and Resources to Help Businesses Run Better

If you are a business owner, you will agree that there is a whole lot that needs to be set in place to ensure smooth operations. From marketing to hiring and managing employees, managing finances, market research, and a host of others. The list is endless!

Ever thought of getting all of these services from a single place? Probably not. The Small Business Assistant wants to do it all for you.

Founded in 2019, The Small Business Assistant is positioning itself as a business support agency. “With a team of experts across industries, we provide support and resources to business owners to ensure smooth business operations”.

In a chat with the founder, Christie Uzebu, she noted that “The Small Business Assistant started in 2019 as a digital marketing agency, and with a small team I helped businesses manage their online presence, from managing email marketing to social media management, paid marketing, website design, graphics design, content/copywriting, and a lot of other online marketing activities. But as we progressed, I noticed businesses needed even more services. We kept getting inquiries for many other services we didn’t set out to do. So, I thought why not? We have relaunched, pulling the services of experts across industries, including Human Resource, Legal, Finance, Customer Service, and even more.”

The Small Business Assistant currently provides services covering Marketing & Communications, Branding & Design, Content & Copywriting, Business Plan Development, Finance & Accounting Advisory, Legal Support, Human Resource Management, and Customer Service Support, and according to the team, they’ve got “all your business needs in one place”.

On how it runs and how they get clients, the team noted that their clientele is mostly from referrals, a testament to the quality work they deliver. However, according to Christie, “as we expand, marketing activities for us are picking up, increasing inquiries coming in from our website as well. To further increase our impact, we offer on-demand group and individual training sessions to business owners and professionals that run for 4 weekends. For each of these training sessions, interested participants sign up via a form on the website and we follow up with more details, then go on to reach out to experts needed for the training.

The team further noted that all of these services are provided by a team of experts in the company. However, for businesses that need an in-house expert, they pull a list of experts in their database and connect them to organizations in need of their services.

For businesses looking to reduce overhead and spend less on resources, The Small Business Assistant is definitely a great alternative, and all eyes are on the team to see how they progress and expand in months to come.
