The Tecno Phantom X2 Pro launched alongside the Phantom X2 but comes with a stand-out feature. In terms of specifications, the X2 Pro is a replica of its vanilla model but packs major punch in its camera abilities.
Both devices in the Phantom X2 series make use of the flagship MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor. Looking at their memory capacities, the Pro model comes with a larger 12GB RAM variant against the maximum 8GB on the vanilla model. This series ushers in a new era for Tecno flagship devices, as they are the first devices to use a true flagship processor. Tecno means business with their new Phantom devices putting them against the competition.
Still, processors and memory capacities aren’t the biggest features of the new Tecno Phantom X2 Pro. The 50MP main camera of this device comes with jaw-dropping technology. To improve portrait photography, the new Phantom X2 Pro comes with a retractable rear camera lens.
This technology, along with the stand-out design of this smartphone’s camera makes it obvious that it is a photography device. Tecno aims to take on the competition with this new photography device. While a photography test will reveal the true camera ability of the X2 Pro, chances that it will compete with the top photography devices are relatively high.
Currently, the new Phantom X2 series is available for pre-order in various authorized Tecno retail stores around the country. The retail price of this device will be around N600,000 to N700,000.
