Silicon Valley Set To Host Nigerian Entrepreneurs

Silicon Valley Links (SV – Links) and Silicon Valley Nigeria Economic Development (SV – NED) in collaboration with the Nigerian Embassy in Washington D.C. are going to be hosting the first week-long immersion program in Silicon Valley with Nigerian executives.

Through the programme, they look to train the chief executive officers of some Nigerian companies, entrepreneurs and other professionals in human capital development, organisational management and technological trends.

The programme, which will bring over 30 top Nigerian executives to participate in an immersion program on the 24th – 30th of September 2017.

 

Value of the programme:

SV-NED Inc. facilitates the creation of business opportunities designed for Silicon Valley technology companies to bring their businesses into Nigeria. Their programs are designed to reduce dependency on oil explorations and increase profitability in the technology sector and increase the feasibility of employing recent college graduates.

This initiative was developed by Chief Amina Temitope Ajayi a.k.a. Mama Diaspora, a US-based Nigerian business consultant who is an accountant by training, a social entrepreneur and an ardent community activist.
