Well, it’s time to secure your spot at #DigitalforAllChallenge 2.0 (DFA 2.0), a digital skill competition being sponsored by a non-profit organization, Technology for Social Change and Development Initiative (Tech4Dev), in partnership with the Federal Government of Nigeria.

The goal of the competition, which bills itself as Africa’s biggest incentive-based digital talent competition, is to empower one million Nigerians. The competition winners would also win N150 million in cash prizes and scholarships.

Director General of the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), Kashifu Abdullahi, stated during the competition’s Abuja launch that the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office funding would contribute in closing the nation’s digital skills gap.

The Digital For All Challenge, according to Tech4Dev founder Joel Ogunsola, is an inclusive strategy that ensures everyone understands the role of technology for building a robust digital economy.

Eligibility

The competition is aimed at a broad range of people, such as young learners (years 8–15), young adults (ages 18–45), and public servants. Every category aims to stimulate innovation, improve digital proficiency, and increase output.

Up to N150 million in cash prizes to be won.
