Samsung’s (UHD) TV to be available in Nigeria soon

At the quarterly media brief held by Samsung on the 28th of March in Lagos Nigeria. Samsung West Africa announced that it would make the Samsung’s UHD TV available in Nigeria from the End of April 2013.

The Samsung Ultra High Definition Television (UHD) TV was unveiled earlier this year at the CES 2013 by Samsung. The Samsung UHD TV claims a size that is 1-inch beyond the competition, and features a crazy “Timeless Gallery” frame design that Samsung says “showcases the juxtaposition of a minimalist concept with such a large display.”

It is 4,000 pixels wide, with four times the pixels as a 1080p HDTV. The UHD TV can accept voice commands with its built-in microphone and Samsung’s Voice Interaction, and navigate content through Samsung’s redesigned Smart Hub. It also features a 3.2-channel, 120-watt speaker system built into its frame, which is significantly more powerful than the 10- and 20-watt systems normally seen on HDTVs.

The UHD TV will become available in Nigeria in the next 3 months.
