Microsoft Signs MoU with Jobberman on Employability Portal

Microsoft Nigeria has part of efforts geared towards addressing unemployment and unlocking youth potential locally, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Jobberman on the Employability Portal, Aiki.ng

By this partnership, Microsoft Nigeria and Jobberman will create platforms for career advisory and mentorship between young job seekers or aspiring entrepreneurs and successful career/business role models.

Kabelo Makwane, Managing Director, Microsoft Nigeria while speaking at the MoU signing ceremony held at Jobberman’s office in Marina, said the MOU signing represents one of the commitments of Microsoft Nigeria Citizenship team to further strengthen the existing success of the Employability portal.
“The MoU is considered highly imperative at this time in order to further increase the number of job opportunities presented to existing and new users of the Portal. Moreover, the MOU will assist in getting to explore other vital components of the employability portal hitherto not given maximum attention; these aspects include, Career Advisory, mentorship and career centres,” he explained.

“Speaking at the event, Ayodeji Adewunmi, Jobberman’s CEO, explained that the platform would create immense opportunities for jobseekers and aspiring entrepreneurs. He also reiterated Jobberman’s commitment to matching top Talents with suitable job openings which he believes has positioned the company as the leading jobs and recruitment website in Nigeria”.
