Cool features are added to our mobile apps every day, our favourite apps keep getting better and one can never tell what’s coming next.

Snapchat added some really cool features that allow us to have more fun with our snaps – exploring new voices and making faces like never before. Then, YouTube added a feature that allows you comment on a video without leaving the app, the feature also allows users share a video with friends while watching and exchanging messages realtime.

There have been added features and updates to the Facebook mobile app over the years and let us not forget WhatsApp now has WhatsApp story. So what’s new this time?

Instagram just added a new feature to its Live stream. This feature allows two people share a live stream from their different phones even when they are in different locations. Apparently, the two people literally appear on screen from your phone, like a duo chat.

When a friend is invited to go live with you, the screen will split in two, so that your friend appears on one half of the screen. Everyone can still comment and follow along as normal.

A very interesting part of this new feature is that you can remove and then add another friend of yours during the Live broadcast.

According to TheNextWeb, Instagram says the feature is being tested by a small number of users and will roll out soon.
