Infinix engages media professionals at exclusive media parley in Lagos. Addresses counterfeit issues

According to the company, Infinix is a brand that goes beyond just manufacturing smartphones by focusing on understanding user needs.

Infinix recently hosted prominent media houses and representatives from various organizations to a media parley. The exclusive event provided a platform to share key insights, discuss the brand’s dedication to continuous improvement, and highlight its investments in the Nigerian and African markets.

Mia Liu, the Global PR Director of Infinix, emphasized that the brand goes beyond just manufacturing smartphones by focusing on understanding user needs. As a result of extensive research, Infinix has prioritized video quality and faster charging for its Nigerian users who want a superior smartphone experience.

Liu further explained that, by promoting social well-being, corporate social responsibility (CSR), and embracing African culture, Infinix aims to transcend being solely product-focused and create a deeper connection with consumers.

Yemisi Ode, the Integrated Marketing Communications & PR Manager of Infinix Nigeria, highlighted the brand’s extensive involvement in youth empowerment projects across the country.

According to Ode, Infinix actively supports initiatives focused on the growth and development of young Nigerians, including collaborations with prominent institutions like the University of Ibadan.

Infinix has also made significant strides in satisfying its gamer fan base. The brand’s HOT series of smartphones are specifically designed with gaming capabilities in mind, incorporating features that empower gamers, such as powerful gaming engines, optimized screens, extended battery life, and robust processors.

Infinix engages gamers through competitions and events like the Infinix Gaming Master, fostering collaborations to drive gaming development in Nigeria.

Addressing the issue of counterfeit Infinix phones, Ode advised customers to purchase exclusively from authorized retail outlets and e-commerce partners to ensure authenticity.

Despite the challenging market conditions, like a 3.4% decline in the African smartphone market in the first quarter of 2023, Infinix attributes its success to delivering high-quality products that cater to the specific needs and passions of Nigerians. Yemi Adewunmi, the Local Marketing Manager, highlighted the brand’s commitment to gathering feedback through extensive market research, ensuring that Infinix’s products evolve to meet the changing demands of consumers.
