Nigeria’s first-ever logistics marketplace, Dellyman.com has launched in Lagos.
The platform aggregates last mile delivery logistics companies providing a pool of assets for retailers and customers to move parcels and goods with ease.
Dellyman.com provides the technology platform as web and mobile apps, allowing the efficient ordering, tracking and delivery of packages to customers.
The free platform targets 20-50,000 deliveries per day and delivery services requested by customers will be on an on-demand basis.
More so, online retailers across the country can seamlessly integrate the solution into their ecommerce platforms to explore the marketplace for their delivery services.
“Nigeria’s growing ecommerce is projected to hit $25 billion by 2025 and logistics is the key to unlocking the potential of the industry. So this solution is quite imperative at this time, for the sector to sustain the growth trajectory,” said Dare Ojo-Bello who is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Dellyman Nigeria Limited.
The solution addresses the shortage of logistics assets to meet the growing demand especially for courier express parcel market in Nigeria.
Dellyman.com also addresses the challenge of idle capacity due to the inability of logistics companies to connect with available delivery requests. It will also help online retailers and their logistics partners to solve, once and for all, the challenge of same-day delivery.
“Since online retail gained prominence in Nigeria, paucity of logistics infrastructure has been the bane of the industry making same day delivery a mirage”.

On the platform, logistics companies will list their services while an uber-like technology platform will allow customers access and buy delivery services within minutes in a secure environment.
Dellyman.com puts customers in control as they choose delivery company, price, time of pickup and delivery as well as track their packages.
Dellyman is available in Lagos now but will launch in Abuja and Port Harcourt between March and April 2019.
